j cole friday night lights video

DJ Sake 1, the funky resident on the one's and two's will be initiating the movement from the jump. So follow the leader as he sets the tone for the evening.

The PST family will be full effect orchestrating all that is PST - a good time on the dance floor and positive energy throughout the night. Cory, Jam, Davu, Paris, Tommy, Marissa, Sean G. and Dario will be your guides. Just do as they do!

Don't let the winter weather fool you. We at PST are just warming up. It only gets better.

Thursday nights were made for fun…tell a friend.

Easily one of the better trailers I’ve seen for a project. Cole kicks things off with some lyrics from the appropriately-titled It Won’t Be Long, and ends with a goosebump-inducing stage entrance.

It’s all set to a very elegant piano melody too, which I hope appears on the mixtape in some form-it would be superb to hear Cole rap on something like that. Click here to grab a recently-released track from the tape, and keep your eyes open on Friday for the full thing.

On a side note, I really feel that BBGun are gradually becoming some of the best cinematographers in the music game. They keep churning out some top drawer work, and I’m genuinely excited when I hear they’re helming a video.
Swoon.
So it appears that J. Cole will be releasing a new mixtape after all. We had an inkling that he would be doing this, especially after several new tracks from him had popped up on the net over the past month or so. The speculated title by many was Villematic, but it turns out Cole's again going with the sports theme here. Friday Night Lights, which serves as the follow-up to his breakthrough mixtape The Warm Up, will not be just a throwaway collection of leaked freestyles. Instead, the North Carolina native is putting together a proper project, which will feature the newly leaked "When I'm Gone." As much as I, and others, would rather hear his still untitled proper debut, Friday Night Lights will certainly hold us over until that record finally drops.
